Wonderful news for Miceál Tinnelly, Rostrevor and the Mournes, as Newry, Mourne and Down District Council have just passed full planning permission for a new 100 bed hotel in the heart of Rostrevor.
Rostrevor, once renowned as the Riviera of Ireland, has always been known for its generous hospitality. This announcement today will do much to enhance its worldwide reputation. Not only will it put Rostrevor firmly back on the tourist map, but it will provide much needed investment in local jobs, in both the construction and hospitality areas.
